Cool `69 head light vacuum hoses.

I`ll start the next thread here, my `69 RS/SS head light doors are without vacuum anymore, doing some minor cleaning and moving one of the vacuum hoses back up into the clip under the front valance and it fell apart...LOL, as far as I know they are original, bought the car in `83 and I have never replaced them...and noticing the plastic tees, they don`t look very good either, so guess I`ll be replacing the vacuum system this winter..those with the same any tips, quality parts, removal of most of the hose from plastic I know will be a pain in the a$$....

Have you given any consideration to the electric units from Detroit Speed?

Plastic, and rubber hoses are always something to be watching. Vacuum leaks can create motor issues. Hope you get it all working again. LFT

I had one heck of a problem trying to get mine to work on my Pace Car. I could not figure it out on my own, so I had to call my mechanic. I think we (He) replaced everything to do with it. (Hoses, motors, ect. Thankfully they do work good now. (Knock on wood). My sisters RS still do not work, but you can open them by hand, there is a switch in the engine compartment near the radiator on the drivers side. You can slide it forward or back to operate the doors. I know I wasn't any help, just know you're not alone.
